Social Media Missionary Blog

 Hello! My name is Jesse Sanchez and I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (better known as the Mormon Church). I'm 18 years old and I'm an ordained priest. I will soon be serving as a full time missionary for two years. I was recently called to be a "social media missionary". What this means is that I get to go on social media websites and talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 I figured I would make a blog and make daily posts about certain thing that we believe in LDS church. But something I have want to do for a while now is to talk about certain things that are happening around the world that might cause confusion. In my church, we believe that God has called a prophet in the modern day to help guide us. Based on the words which the prophet has spoken and based on the scriptures, I was able to grow more in knowledge. But I'm of the opinion that knowledge doesn't do me any good, unless I can share it with others.

 With that said I hope to go over those confusing things in the world and help to make it more understandable.

 Another thing I want to do, as I said before, was to make daily posts. Monday-Thursday, I want to make uplifting posts, while possibly sharing a video. I strongly believe that the world needs more good, so this is the very least I can do to try and help. On Friday, I want to make a post that features scripture study. I think this will be a good way to learn more about the Bible, and it may also help others to learn more about the Book of Mormon, which I believe to be another testament of Jesus Christ. On Saturday, I want to make a special post that I call "Journal". This will be a post about something I have experienced that is centered on Christ. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you! And on Sunday, I'll another special post called "ECHO", which will just be a talk given by church leaders, such as the Prophet or the Apostles in my church.

 Now, I named this blog "The Children of Righteousness". I did that because I don't want to be the only one sharing my experiences and knowledge. I want to hear your story and if it is aligned with the correct standards (being that it is not speaking ill of someone, speaking against God, etc.), I would like your permission to make it a post. All that I ask is that you don't post it in the comments, rather I ask you to email it to me.
